St. Paul’s Social Services, which includes the Daily Bread Food Bank and the Fellowship Centre, is a registered charity that responds to London and area residents who are in need of emergency food access and other support services.

St. Paul’s Social Services is committed to providing these supports through client-centred service that is based on our four key organizational values of respect, kindness, community and generousity.  Our services are provided in large part by caring and committed volunteers.

The Daily Bread Food Bank provides a three day emergency food supply to individuals and families who live in poverty and are unable to meet their food needs.  We are open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to noon. We provide referral to other supportive community agencies, as needed.  Our caring volunteers provide one on one contact with each person seeking support.  In part this contact includes time for conversation and listening as we support each person who accesses our program.

The Fellowship Centre is open each Monday and Wednesday, 11:30am to 12:30pm.  We provide a hot, nutritious lunchtime meal to individuals over 20 years of age who are living in poverty, seeking nourishment and a warm, safe place to connect with others.

Our 170 volunteers are the core of our service.  We could not exist without them and are grateful for their dedication and caring.  We welcomed 32 new volunteers in 2013 and will be welcoming more new volunteers at our spring 2014 orientation.   If you would like to volunteer, please email us at  to request a volunteer application form.

We also work with community partners to coordinate services for basic needs in our community, and to address food security and movement into change at a community level.
