There are many ways to support programs and services at St. Paul’s Social Services.  Our ability to provide is a result of many donations, volunteer time and a grant (5% of our operating costs) from The City of London.  We are grateful for the generosity of the London and area community.  Here are some ways you can support those in need in our community:

1.  Financial Support:  If you wish to make a one time or monthly donation there are several options.  You will receive a tax receipt for all donations received. An annual receipt is issued for regular, monthly donations. All other receipts are issued when the donation is received.

a)      Cheque:  made payable to either the Daily Bread Food Bank Program or The Fellowship Centre.  You can either drop it off or mail it to:

St. Paul’s Social Services
472 Richmond Street
London Ontario N6A 3E6

b)       Credit card:

    • you can either leave us a phone message (519) 434-8979, or email us at daily.bread@stpaulscathedral.on.ca  with your contact information and a time to return your call.  Staff can then take your credit card information over the phone; OR
    • make a secure electronic donation through PayPal by following this link: Online Donations

c)       Endowment Fund:  Give the gift of an endowment to the Daily Bread Endowment Fund with London Community Foundation by calling (519) 667-1600.

2.  Food Donations:

a)      Church, school or organization food drive: many of these organizations do annual or more frequent drives for food.  Let us know if we can help you by supporting a pick-up at your organization.  Or bring your food drive donations to the back door of St. Paul’s Cathedral, weekdays between 9:30 and noon. See CURRENT NEEDS for a list of our high priority items.

b)      Bring individual food donations to the back door of St. Paul’s Cathedral, weekdays between 9:30 and noon.

3.  Volunteer:

We now hold volunteer orientation sessions several times a year.  If you’re interested in learning about volunteering with any of our programs, please email, phone or drop in to see us.  We will provide you with a volunteer application form.

4.  Plant a Garden:

Some individuals and families are supporting us by planting a garden and donating a portion of the produce to our Food Bank and Fellowship Centre.  Please remember we cannot receive donations of produce that require refrigeration.
